It’s rare that I share something on this blog, mostly because I abhor the cheap, easy, and trite things that get shared on social media. I may start doing this more and more as life here in Nashville becomes more mundane and pedestrian. I strive to not fall into that repetitive rut, but the gravitational pull of familial life is strong and consistent.

If you sometimes feel the same way, I hope this video will help. It was shared by someone in my men’s book club (yep, they do exist), and based on a commencement address by David Foster Wallace, it echoes some of the themes we’re reading about in our current book.
