Doodle is home and has been restored to his usual place of honor.
He was well taken care of and we have the bills to prove it. He was, of course, the darling of the vet offices. How can anyone not just love an almost hairless Chihuahua?
He’s been diagnosed with chronic lung disease, probably caused by a combination of age and allergies. We now have to give him a twice daily puff of steroids to breathe in. Yes, it’s as difficult as it sounds.
With that crisis avoided, we simply moved into another one with Kymberlee coming down with the flu. So I’d like to think that because I was traveling for a week, in doggy crisis mode for the weekend, then in daddy/mommy/caretaker role since Monday that I have a good reason for not keeping up with the blog. I’m giving myself that grace!
