Last year, after 15 years of being glasses and contacts free, I had to start wearing glasses again. Since this happened in the Fall, I haven’t had to live through sweat season yet. But the early warm days have reminded me one of the things I hate about glasses – falling down due to sweat.

And boy, do I sweat. So I’m already dreading the steamy summer, and that’s where Nerdwax comes in. Nerdwax is yet another great idea being funded through Kickstarter and the founder is also a fellow Nashvillian who came up with the idea after watching performers keep pushing their glasses back up.

I have no idea if it will work, but I’m hopeful enough to donate enough for three tubes just for the possibility of being able to use my glasses all summer. And no, I’m not receiving any kickbacks, I just think this is cool!
