I’m back to glasses again. After 10 years sans glasses and contacts thanks to LASIK, my streak has come to a thudding halt. I went for an eye checkup thinking I was just needing some driving glasses when it was dark. Nope. I just can’t see.
I received my new glasses yesterday courtesy of Warby Parker. Which was a great experience. Select five frames, get them shipped to your house for free, try them on and ship them back within five days. For free.
I found a pair I liked and ordered them. For $95. With anti-scratch, anti-reflection lenses. Included.
So yes, a great experience from a company that is upending the eye ware market. But it sucks to be wearing glasses again. The upside is that my wife thinks I look cute!
